This motorhome had the right idea.  They towed an enclosed trailer with their favorite ride inside!

North east of Phoenix as a lovely campground.  The setting was magical.

Twenty Nine Palms

A nice little town, Twenty Nine Palms, north of the Joshua Tree National Park, had a wonderful and long mural painted on the side of a building.  It was in tribute to the Marines from a local unit that served in Iraq.  I broke up the long mural into 4 segments for better detail.

Rattle Snake

Camped out north of Phoenix, we noted a visitor in the parking lot.  Looked like a pigmy rattle snake.
